THIS Is Why You Should Never Take Vitamin C In These Begs and What To Consume Instead

The powerful drink Emergen-C is a vitamin C based fizzy drink gives people more energy and boosts their immune system. However, it has a problem that even the general website of the manufacturer admits. It uses GMO products, but does not say which ones are GMO. Also, they don’t guarantee that all the raw used materials are sourced from non-GMO ingredients.

Most of the vitamin companies in USA buy ascorbic acid which is made from cornstarch and volatile acids. Companies make their own product formulations and label the product claims, including the same synthetic vitamin C.

What is Ascorbic Acid and what is wrong with it?

Vitamin C and Ascorbic is not the same. Maybe you don’t know that nearly all vitamin C in dietary supplements are synthetic and it is possible to consume more than 100-150 mg of it from food into a tablet. This means that vitamin C found in groceries is not natural and it is a chemical, by-product of sulfuric acid and GMO sourced cornstarch derivative. Consuming plenty of these synthetic vitamins is not good because they may have toxic effects and can boost the white blood cell count.

Taking vitamin C in high doses can lead to kidney stones. An amount greater than 500 mg a day can trigger an issue.

These are the health dangers of Ascorbic Acid:

  • This synthetic vitamin C destroys the favorable probiotic bacteria in the gut.
  • It reacts with iron in foods and leads to neurological conditions.
  • Boosts the cardiovascular disease risk in patients with diabetes.
  • It leads to increased risk of kidney stones.
  • It affects the mitochondrial function of muscles and exercise adaptability.

Moreover, there are unpleasant reactions to this synthetic vitamin C, such as stomach cramps, diarrhea, and nausea. Less common side effects are insomnia, progesterone drop, headache, heartburn, vomiting, irritation of the throat, gluten reaction, allergic reactions, and poor drug interactions.

What are you supposed to do?

Try to consume organic foods that are rich in vitamin C if you want a natural boost of energy levels and the immune system. You need to eat citrus fruits, green peppers, strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, white potatoes, sweet tomatoes, leafy greens, cantaloupe, papaya, mango, watermelon, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, red peppers, raspberries, winter squash, and pineapples.

If you want to be healthy and maintain good health, eating enough fruits and vegetables is not easy. You need whole food vitamins that are derived from whole foods that contain complex nutrients our body needs.
