Get Rid of Ants Overnight with This Amazing Trick

I am sure you don’t like seeing a trail of ants every time you are going to the kitchen. If you don’t like using bug sprays and regular repellants because of their strong odor and the chemicals they contain, read this article.

First, we are going to offer you Borax. It is a natural mineral that is present in most bug sprays.

To use it in order to get rid of this ant problem, you will need a cup of warm water, half a cup of sugar, two tablespoons of Borax and some cotton balls.

Mix these ingredients and then soak the cotton balls in the mixture. Then, place the soaked cotton balls anywhere where ants seem to come in and trail along. The next morning you will see that the ants are dead and your problem is solved.

Here are some other natural ways to keep ants away from your house:

Chalk

Draw a thick line with the chalk outside the door or on other area ants come in from. They won’t cross the chalk line.

Lemon Juice

Fill half a spray bottle with lemon juice and half water and spray the mixture inside your house to deter ants. The strong citrus aroma keeps them away.

Vinegar

Mix half vinegar and half water in a spray bottle. Use the mixture to spray the areas where ants come from and you will easily get rid of them. If they are already inside your house, you can spray them with the mixture. Vinegar is helpful because ants hate it.

Cinnamon

To prevent ant invasion in your house, use cinnamon the same way as the chalk. Make a line of it around the outside of your house or any other area inside to keep them away. Also, your house will smell nice.

Essential Oils

Ants don’t like the nice smell of essential oils like we do. So, you can use it to eliminate them from your house. Add 10 drops of essential oil in one cup of water and spray the mixture in the affected areas.

You can use lemon oil, lavender oil, peppermint oil, cedar oil, or eucalyptus oil.

Make sure you are not using eucalyptus oil if you have a cat because it is highly toxic to them.
